Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II has featured on all British currency dating to 1953 date marks, the year in which she was formally crowned Queen of England. The Queens effigy has been updated five times during her long reign. The design featured here on the obverse of the 2020 British Valiant 1 oz Silver coin is from Jody Clark and was developed in 2015. It depicts the Queen in right-profile relief wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown. Her Majesty is 89 years old in this design.
Reverse
St. George is the patron saint of England and is popularly remembered for saving a small village by defeating a dragon. In this design from Etienne Millner, St. George rides to meet the beast on his warhorse with basic armor for himself and none for his horse. As the dragon recoils away from him, St. George uses his long spear to kill the beast with a blow to the heart.
History
St. George is remembered in a tale that played out in various folklore stories from cultures across the European continent in the Medieval period. Dragons were seen as a source of destruction and death. In most cases, only the best fighters or those on a mission from above could stop the terror of a dragon.

When the subtotal of your purchase, including applicable discounts, is $199 or more, you receive free shipping for your entire order. In order to receive free shipping on purchases of $199 or more, you must live within the 50 US states. For orders less than $199, a $9.95 shipping fee applies. All products are discreetly packaged and shipped with full insurance included.
Most Provident orders are shipped within one (1) business day of your payment clearing. Payments made via PayPal clear instantly. Bitcoin payments clear instantly once the transaction is confirmed. Credit Card and bank wire payments process within 1 business day. ACH and paper check payments take 3-5 business days. All orders of $199 or more that are eligible for free shipping are, by default, shipped via a carrier of our choice (USPS or UPS). Depending on the contents and size of your purchase, you may be able to upgrade to a specific carrier during checkout.
For those orders of $999.99 or less, there is no need to sign for your package. However, you may select the option to require a signature at delivery if you want. This can be chosen and paid for at checkout. All orders of $1000 or more require a signature to complete delivery.
